Origin of the name YM i.e. YouthMatrix : The word 'Matrix' = 'place of origin or growth' - a 'mould that gives future form'. Family/Culture/Education, provide such a mould for Youth.

Tenets of YM YouthMatrix : hth = Honour, Truth Heritage i.e. demand Truth , live with Honour, and tend well, all you have Inherited.

For that huge responsibility of parenting, there is no map, no compass - only your own instinct and the experience/advice of others who care. As mother/grandmother and Editor - I care and offer you, with all respect, the following advice guidelines as possible reference tool when wondering how to guide your child as he/she travels along the path of self-discovery and self-development.
  1. Integrity/Access of Information (demand Truth) - as far as possible, the whole truth, nothing but the truth. Be well- informed.
  2. Integrity of Behaviour (live with Honour). To others - Courtesy Nobility Compassion. To yourself - respect for inner Ethics dictates - develop and live by, your own individual standards. Be well-disciplined and well-intentioned.
  3. Body/Mind/Family/Environment/Country - all these things are your Inheritance (tend well, all you have Inherited). Be vigilant, tend well, all things given you -  i.e.  good Health, clear intellect, caring relationships with those who love you, the boundless beauty of Nature, the sovereignty of the country you reside in. Respect and be prepared to defend at all times these wonderful gifts.

The 'ethical decision' is the result of being well self-aware, well-informed, well-disciplined and well-intentioned.

  • Our Right -  Sovereignty of Self and Nation
  • Our Responsibility - Ethics
  • Our Aim - Standards self-set

"The purpose of your life is not to do as the majority does, but to live according to the inner law which you understand in yourself". - Leo Tolstoy
